Liverpool Feds Secure Permanent Home at Walton Hall Park

Liverpool Feds have secured a permanent home at Walton Hall Park, thanks to a partnership with Everton FC, made to support the growth of the girls’ and women’s football pyramid.

Prior to the collaboration, Liverpool Feds played their home games at Jericho Lane; a small, community football pitch. However, now Everton Women are based at Goodison Park, the Feds will benefit from WSL facilities, an elite level pitch and enhanced player and supporter amenities at Walton Hall Park.

Everton have pledged to ensure Walton Hall Park continues to serve as a hub for grassroots and community football, but with a specific focus on opportunities for women and girls. Everton Free School and Football College will be utilising the facilities at Walton Hall Park, ensuring their promise is fulfilled.

Hannah Forshaw, Everton Women’s new Chief Executive, said:

“This is an exciting time for Everton Women, as we begin our historic journey at Goodison Park. Partnering with Liverpool Feds reflects our wider commitment to championing women’s football across the city – from the grassroots to the elite game.

This collaboration is another demonstration of how we will be using our facilities at Everton to continue to play a leading role in the growth of women’s football.”

Liverpool Feds currently play in the FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division. At the end of their 2024/25 campaign in the league, the Feds finished in a respectable sixth position in the league table.

Originally formed by students at Liverpool Hope University, the club has grown into a truly community-driven club, giving more than 150 girls the chance to play football.

Liverpool Feds general manager Abby Pope said:

“The move to Walton Hall Park marks a significant milestone for Liverpool Feds. It not only elevates our matchday experience for both our players, staff and fans, but also strengthens the visibility of women’s football in Liverpool.

This partnership reflects our ambition and belief in the power of collaboration to inspire the next generation of players and fans.

We want to thank Everton for their collaboration and support in making this move possible, and we wish them every success as they begin their exciting new chapter at Goodison Park.”
